porsche cayman s 2006

#1 Post by brad boardman » Fri May 09, 2014 8:12 pm

All-
My dad is selling his beloved Cayman S. His health is failing and at least for now, he cannot drive. This is an amazingly well taken care of car with low miles. He has it on Craigslist, but he and I both would like to see it go to someone who cares....
Here is his description:
Seal Grey Cayman S with 34,000 miles being sold by 74 year old original owner. Optioned with Bose Sound System w 6 CD changer, Bi-Xenon Headlight Package, and colored hub caps. Normally driven up HW-9 in third gear (2000 to 4000 rpm), never floored in first gear and never exceeded ~ 5000 rpm or hit rev limiter. And it has never driven less than 10 miles before parking. All Service Records at Steven Creek Porsche. And it has hardly ever seen the sun so paint and interior are like new.
I had Jerry Woods add a third radiator with more coolant and lower temperature thermostat.
The engine was broken in by driving at low speeds on the local hill to seat the rings so it does not burn any oil. Stevens Creek Porsche performed all recommended servicing including changing the oil at ~ 4000 mile intervals.
I don't know what else to say except that the person who gets this car will be absolutely stoked. -brad

WOW, I'd trade the pumpkin for that. Very sorry to hear of his failing health, Brad. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

Blue Book for the car is just under 32,000. It is truly a perfect car. -brad
