From time to time they have a special on aluminum, low-profile race jacks that can't be beat. $59.

So HF is great for some stuff, I just bought some ground walnuts from them cause I don't know how they can screw those up. They suck for other things though, that aluminum jack does NOT like loads that aren't straight in line or a surface that isn't totally flat. I also killed a transfer punch from them in about two blows.

Of course, I also tend to buy snap-on stuff. The Craftsman stuff in Sears even feels like it belongs in HF as of late.

The jack works well for the price. I won't argue it's flaws since I know it isn't going to work as well as a $400 jack. Some stuff there is worthless.
