Rattle can repaint completed

#1 Post by campbellcj » Sun Apr 10, 2011 8:00 pm

I finished spraying my trailer today. It was looking really crappy - it's steel and is stored outside so was embarrassingly grungy with lots of surface rust showing. About 20 rattle cans later it looks vastly improved.

I'd like to get an enclosed trailer but budget/priority wise that is probably a good 2-3 years out, so this is on duty until then. Heavy sucker for an open trailer (all steel) but it's very solid and pulls smoothly. I've definitely gotten my money out of it.

Looks nice.

What brand of paint did you choose?

LOL, just Rustoleum from the local home improvement store...

I actually have a gun and compressor so I could have done a more serious job if so motivated, but I wasn't ;) Plus I don't think I could have powered a compressor in the storage yard so I would have had to get a generator, or spray at home in my driveway.
