Hey Clemson,
Cool idea! I have artists in my family but never have thought about having porsche pic painted. Id love to have this photo of my dad at 73 Porsche parade Autocross at Laguna Seca brought to life with more vivid orange etc. I scanned this old photo and it’s lost color but still think it’s a cool snapshot of 70s era autocross scene that I participated in as pit crew. I don’t know how my dad convinced me changing race tires and putting stinger on his car was fun but I fell for it! Those were back in days when insurance wasn’t an issue and I rode with my dad in plenty of Autocross events out at Salinas airport.
I received this 914 as a graduation present in 1980. Took Sheilah to prom in same car. Lol!
For its time It was a cool little car. Had fenders flared by Porsche body guy to fit American race wheels with good year slicks, top was sanded smooth and painted orange. Had adjustable Koni shocks with bigger swaybars.

ThunderHill, I think it was turn 2 reverse (clockwise). Kinda looks like turn 14 counterclockwise but there's no place for a photographer to take a shot like that.
