Kahuna Laguna 2019 103dB

#1 Post by dant » Mon Mar 04, 2019 6:18 pm

Laguna Seca July 18,19,20,21. 103dB, yes that is not a typo....103dB for all 4 days
Thursday test and tune, run under DE expanded (enhanced) passing rules, for DE and CR testing.
Club Race activities
Friday practice and Qualifying
Saturday Warm up and 2 sprint races
Sunday warm up and Enduros
All 4 days are at 103dB
There will be either 1 or two DE run sessions for the weekend depending on numbers of Club Racers
Please consider coming down and running your car and/or volunteering
We will need help with:
1)Registration:
2)Grid;
3)Scoring and Timing;
3)Scales;
4)Hospitality;
5)Swag;

Participants (drivers) that volunteer to provide assistance in one of those volunteer areas will receive a discount commensurate with the time they volunteer. Other bonuses may also be available.
Or just come down and volunteer for a day or the entire weekend. Should be 200 or so Club Racers among which there may be a Vintage Porsche Racing Group running. So we may have everything from 356s to GT3 Cup cars and everything in between.
We are trying to make this a major National event like Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America etc....
Consider this to be a mini Rennsport, less crowds lots of great racing
This event could have a huge impact on PCA Club Racing on the west coast...
We are expecting teams and participants from at least West of the Rockies, Canada, Texas and everything in between.
Please consider being a big part of the ground breaking event for Zone 7 and GGR. :dance: :dance:

Hi Grant...how are you doing...did you get your 911T? I see the SteveL has the Cayman now...
Did you see that AlbertC has bought the old Black Boxster? He bought if from the guy you sold it to in Texas
We are hoping this becomes a yearly event...the first one will pave the way...
We need lots of volunteers, whether they are driving or not...should be a great way to get in to see lots of Porsche race cars up close.lol;

Yes! Posted a couple pics in 911 T thread. Love this car!

Wow! No did not know about Albert picking up the Boxster. That’s awesome! Love seeing my cars in California. Wondering if he will be racing it on track? It has or at least had a SCCA road racing legal cage.

If get brave enough to track 911 may do DE if there is one.
