The Banana Boat build is now in full swing.

Let's start this off with the basics, such as the starter chassis and cosmetic changes.

Though, the magazine article photo is what it looked like when it was in it's prime. I bought a shell that had been sitting outside for many years

The exterior prep was rather simple. I started with riveted flares

I took some of the metal parts off and fitted fiberglass stuff, such as the rear trunk lid and bumpers.

I purchased the engine that was used in this car when it was raced with SCCA and it was a fantastic T4. I have since sold it and an in the process of rebuilding and upgrading the engine from my last car. I bought the engine back from Ed since he decided to upgrade to a monster.
