My new build will end up a street car with race bits. It won't be as light or as stiff as The Pumpkin but it should scoot pretty good. I'll likely never see a TTOD in my car and I don't have plans to make it out to any SCCA events. With my work schedule I barely have enough time to do most of the LPR events

Yeah I hear you on time to AX. Last year was awful for me. Couple LPR events, couple GGR, think one SCCA and AAS and one Lotus club - no Nats. Now that AAS and even SCCA are using Crows my local options are going away. My new job is a lot more demanding but hey it gets me closer to early semi-retirement faster so I can drive more in near future.

I love your new 914. Very fun car.

Looks like cayman turbo install will start in 10 days!

Lots of progress today! Center radiator in, intercooler mounted. Looks like we need to put stock plenum back on as too much fab work to justifying keeping IPD plenum. TPC Turbo Cayman S in progress! Looks like it will be completed soon! :clap:

Turbo HP on last seasons rubber should be some real fun!

This kit is very cool. Doesn't add any weight compared to stock exhaust. Very compact design.

Hey Grant, have you been following the SCCA Fastrack News? They're looking at changing the weight formulas for XP!!! You may not have to worry about getting any lighter.

No haven't seen it. Id love them go to similar total weight like E mod. I have about 100 lb body weight penalty that Im working on losing but I will still always be heavier than most drivers .

Getting much closer. Need to tune it, muffler doesn't fit well so need to figure out how to make it fit or fab a race muffler (video is running right out of the turbo) I need to splice MAF sensor into my race intake as its not going to run well without it. Just ordered boost controller as well.

Help coming next week! Hoping to have car ready by March! I always underestimate these projects! BUt turbo Cayman is so fun! Hope my clutch lasts this season!
