1972 rear wheel bearing replacement

Postby brad boardman » Sat Jun 24, 2017 6:27 pm

Hi, everyone-

As I slowly make my way through my suspension project, I find myself doing more than I ever intended. I know that is the way it goes. Well, the latest is that it looks like I have a fried rear wheel bearing. Looks like a bear of a job to replace. Anyone had the pleasure? Should I just limp somewhere and have someone else do it? Any recommendations?

Ok, false alarm.... Looks like the parking brake pads were touching the rotor and giving me the impression that the bearings were binding. I am such a newbie. Don't make fun of me next time I see you.

Sorry, just got back here to see this. Bearings are super easy to do so don't worry. If you do need it sometime, just let me know. I'll help.
