Veloc has the 2017 Isle of Man TT events now. Fun to watch real talent.

Thanks. It's just a simple carbureted T4 with a bump in CCs. The previous owner said it was a 2.3 but I think it is a little tired. I'm hoping to put a 2.7 -6 in it over the winter but leave everything else alone. Keep it a street car but on A7s for AX

It'd be fun to have a 914 street car for Sunday drives (cars & coffee) and such. Sure can't do that with a race car.

Ki was thinking the same thing. I had my fun with the other race car. Now I'm up for something different

I'll never see TTOD in this car but that's not what it is for. I ended up in the top 5 with no tuning at all and only front brakes working so it should be good for one or two more notches towards the top but that's probably all it can do.

Did you buy the race motor from your last 914? If you did and you're still using the silencer, then don't forget to refresh the K&N filter, but carefully after the reinstall retape all those lock nuts. :)

Yep, I did. You should see what Ed Hunter replaced the engine with. A real monster. I'll be sure to freshen it all up before install. Thanks for the reminder.
