We were looking at these for the 914 I drive https://www.tarett.com/items/914-produc ... EM_4716318....... bought new A7s instead. We will see how the car behaves on Sunday.
Have you guys seen the new GT3 914 front ends from Elephant racing? Allows new gen GT3 suspension pieces to be used. Now just need to figure out how to get rid of that awful rear swing axle.

I really don't get the point of that kit. It's heavier than the ERP 935 stuff I am sure, twice as expensive, and uglier then sin all while gaining nothing over the ERP 935 stuff that has been our for decades. I'm really not a fan of any of Elephant's parts other than some of their pre-made oil-cooler kits, their design and machining on everything is very clunky.

To me seems better design than erp but probably not twice as expensive good. I haven’t ever been much for looks. Just seems like it would hold wheel under load better than erp but who knows.

Ok ordered my 19 inch wheels. Jongbloed monoblocks that will clear my pccb. This will allow me to run A7s. Going with 19x9 upfront and 19x11.5 rear. Will run 315 out back and 265 upfront. More conservative than what GT3 crowd runs but think it will suit this car well. Car will dip into 2900 lb realm with these lightweight wheels as well.

Can’t wait to get this setup on the car. Heck on skinny street tires this car is stupid fast with little more grip it’s going to be chasing down dedicated race cars. https://www.jongbloedracingwheels.com/

Ryan at Joengblood Racing is awesome! Think this is my 8th set of wheels he has built for me.

Having way more fun with this car than i had imagined! With very little it’s faster than most cars i have driven in past. Just love power delivery from little 3.0 turbo motors. I had to laugh buggy guys brought out radar gun to catch top speeds on straight at last AX and my street tire Carrera T was fastest car of day ...well tied with Gary’s 280 hp 1700 lb bug on Avon’s. As I had suspected little turbos on base 3.0 really lend themselves well to ax. Spin up is quick. Even in slow 2 nd gear turns those turbos push decent boost. So when I tune should see even better response.

Holy schnitzel! A simple Cobb Tune has turned meek little T into a monster! Boost comes on early and it’s like swift kick in butt and car roars off throwing me back into seat! Front end actually gets a little light when at full rock and roll! This is going to be fun! I need way more tire to tame this kind of power!

Love BR Racing in Los Gatos. What a cool shop! They will be doing much of my future work.

Those wheels look super light. I'm stuck in the middle of an engine rebuild. I should be able to get to the next LPR event. Looking forward to seeing your new ride.

Can confirm that day two with tune its just as fun! OMG it just hauls butt! I don't even feel safe on streets unleashing all its power sometimes. Especially in traffic as car gets to crazy speeds very quickly now. Im thinking this car accelerates in realm of Rob Bs GT2. I know I will be using the sport stability/traction control mode to limit rear end from stepping out too far in AX initially. Think I will need big fat A7s before I can trust fully disabled stability control.

Ran car with stock suspension and street tires but with tune at SCCA ax this weekend . It’s a handful to drive if I punch it but with moderate throttle it was pretty easy to keep in check. Car is very quick front start.

I just ordered my A7s - 315 rear 265 front. Still waiting for wheels and coil overs.
